Mindfulness-Based Workshops


Several mindfulness workshops are available to organizations:

  • The 1-hour workshop introduces your team to the practice of mindfulness in the workplace.
  • The 3-hour workshop gives your team an overview of the theories and applications of mindfulness.
  • The full-day workshop further develops the introductory concepts and applications of mindfulness.
  • A customized workshop (4-week 1-hour workshops, 2 full days, etc.) can be tailored to your team.

Participants will learn tools, techniques and tips to increase their effectiveness and engagement at work and other areas of their life.

Notes About this Intervention
  • Mindfulness has also been shown to have a positive impact on the body’s physical response to stress from cortisol hormone levels to nervous system reactivity. Practicing mindfulness not only can change your mood and attention but also your physical response to stress. Click here to learn more.
  • The cost of the workshops varies according to length and degree of customization. Contact the Centre or fill out the custom request form here.
  • Format: In-person workshop. Workshops are offered primarily in Toronto but can also be delivered in other locations in Ontario
  • Based on Mindfulness, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy theories.
  • Provided by the Centre for Mindfulness Studies, which offers other additional Mindfulness-Based Programs.

Mindfulness has been really helpful for me professionally and personally. I developed a lot of habits around multi-tasking and rushing and thinking ahead. Mindfulness has helped me notice these tendencies and step out of them.
