Healthy Body Healthy Mind

Healthy Mind Healthy Body Second Edition consists of three Mental Health Curriculum supplements (teacher resource) designed for classroom delivery in order to fill a recognized gap that currently exists in mental health materials. The Resources will help teachers introduce age appropriate mental health concepts gradually over the years. Available in both official languages (English and French), they are an authorized teaching resource by the Nova Scotia Department of Education for use with the Health Education Curriculum Healthy Living.

Healthy Mind Healthy Body Second Edition includes lessons found in Healthy Mind Healthy Body Nova Scotia Edition plus additional lessons based on feedback received by teachers and school personnel.  The goal of the Program is to enhance mental health literacy and reduce stigma by exposing children to mental health concepts at a young age repeatedly through the years. The program encourages children to talk about mental health, promotes positive self-identity, and healthy decision-making.
