Services & Programs

Programs and services offered at St. Clair Child & Youth Services include:

  • County Mental Health Clinics: This program provides single session therapy sessions for children and youth up to 18 years of age, and their families. The Mental Health Clinics offer individuals and families an opportunity to meet with trained therapists for help in their time of need. A single session of therapy may be sufficient, and the Mental Health Clinic may be used more than once. Parents/guardians may access this support with or without their child. Youth may opt to access this support on your own. The program’s team will work with individuals/families to ensure that they receive the most suitable supports.
  • Early Years Mental Health Services: This program provides a range of support services to parents/guardians and their children from infancy up to 6 years of age who are facing social, emotional, and/or behavioural difficulties. This program will work with individuals to match services with the needs and strengths of their child and family. Our services may be a good fit for your family if your child:
    • Engages in hard to manage behaviour at home or in the community
    • Is experiencing relationship difficulties with family and friends
    • Has ongoing struggles with daily routines (such as sleeping, eating) that are not due to medical illness
    • Has experienced a difficult or stressful life event
    • Appears to be sad, anxious, or clingy

  • Brief Services: This program provides short-term, focused supports for children/youth 6-18 years of age, and their families, to address specific emotional, social and/or behavioural concerns.
