Services & Programs

Programs and services offered at Lambton Mental Wellness Centre include:

  • Lambton Family Initiative: This program is a support service for family members, friends and significant others of individuals with any form of mental illness. It is a place to receive information, support and understanding in a confidential atmosphere. Groups include the 12 week NAMI family education group, and Sashbear Family Connections education program, held twice a year and a monthly support group. Model of service is support, education, and recovery.
  • Peer Support & Support Groups: The Lambton Mental Wellness Centre offers peer support through the following support groups; wellness, concurrent, depression & anxiety, bipolar and the wellness recovery action plan (WRAP). Our various programs and social recreation activities include; meditation, music, social groups, cooking, baking, arts and crafts, day trips, foot care, monthly lunches, pet therapy and a breakfast club.
